Mode of Action
Milduvip belongs to the benzimidazole group of fungicides.
After application, Thiophanate Methyl is absorbed by the plant and converted into its active form carbendazim. It acts by inhibiting fungal cell division by interfering with beta tubulin formation, which disrupts mitosis.
This prevents the growth and spread of fungal pathogens, effectively controlling the disease. The systemic movement allows protection of new plant tissues as well.
